Mal Thoughts returns this week after an episode hiatus! She reviews the latest episode “The Week in 43 Minutes.”

Monday

• Like the concept, but if you do another “theme” episode next week you’ll be getting dangerously close to Glee level theme dependency. #rehashingjokesIusedamonthago 
• If you guys are only recording a few minutes every day, can I just only write out a section of my thoughts per day? Let’s say that’s why this is so late. 
• I love my Blackberry too Spenser, you’re not alone. In fact you’re the only other person I know who owns one. 

Tuesday

• I was really expecting a Lost style flashback “WOOOOOOSH” between days, COME ON! 
• This is a weird experience listening to this episode a few days after it was released and it was recorded like 2 weeks ago and I feel like by living life I’ve been spoiled by all the current events you will be discovering. 
• Things I don’t care about: iPhone 4s
• Harp-O’s feelings must have been crushed when Jacob wished for a robot best friend and didn’t even mention him!
• See! I already know The Simpsons have two more good years ahead of them! 
• And I think you say “Fuck you” to the woman Whitney Cummings is too harsh, she has a bad show and isn’t funny, but it’s more of the concept of Whitney that’s wrong. The person she portrays, not the show. If that makes sense.

Wednesday 

• Harrison Ford > Henry Ford in technological achievements. 
• You didn’t even have an mp3 player in 2005? Who are you, Britta?
• Spenser! We are like totally technology twins! I had a Zen for the longest time. I only finally got an iPod as a present to myself after a shitty couple weeks. Best use of retail therapy ever. 
• Confession: I haven’t listened to episode 19 yet. Sorry Layne! (Because I totally know him so that makes sense to say) 
• Confession Part Deux: I’ve never seen Jurassic Park.
• There’s no reason to feel old about Star Wars, that’s just ridiculous. 
   

Thursday 

• Why are you informing people about your Facebook player issues? You know that people won’t hear this for a few days after that was fixed, right?
• I always have a million tabs open. Well more like 25ish.
• So I shouldn’t have emailed the link to your podcast to all of your professors or….?

Friday 

• I’m pretty sure that intro music was just for me, and if it wasn’t than I’m going to pretend it was and you should feel guilty that it wasn’t.
• Jacob sounds sleepy awwww
• This is the year of Ryan Gosling and I’m ok with that. 
• If we’re working for Disney now, do I finally get paid? 

Saturday 

• Surprise guest?! CHRIS?! This means nothing to the listeners but I’ve never heard this kid talk so this is mind blowing. 
• I like how Jacob freaked out over saying Chris’ full name a few episodes ago and out of the gate Chris Pollman saying his full name. 
• Harp-1? Another robot I have to compete with for your affections? 
• I’m jealous of Chris’ actual good quality sound. This is the first time I’ve listened to you two have a non-me guest and I’m feeling possessive. 
• When Chris said “used vinyl” I thought he meant like The Used and was confused why anyone would do that. 
• This has become less “Mal Thoughts” and more “Mal Passive Aggressively Comments on Her Friend’s Conversations” but actually that’s kind of what it always was.
• Man I love Carey Mulligan too, and I can confirm to the listeners at home that she is even cuter in person. 

• I love how you too sarcastically talk about your busy week and I’m cramming this in between my night shift and having to get to work again at 6 in the morning.
• Emails!
• I would’ve fact checked the sports shit but I don’t care about sports. 
• I’ve been sucking on the fact checking lately, I would go back and re-listen to double check but again, I don’t care. 
• And big news, I finally watched the pilot of Breaking Bad the other night. Can I be cool now?
