If you haven’t already caught on, Mal Thoughts is a weekly write-up of that week’s episode from our dear friend Mal!

• Only took until episode 15 to get a completely natural unprovoked Lost reference and I loved it. 
• It was Moses on the mountain, according to the internet and since I’ve never read the bible I’m going to trust it.
• Honest to god I would love to be Dan Harmon’s assistant, I would kick ass at it. Dan, hit me up.
• Jacob and the rest of you east coasters are becoming masters of the elements.
• Wonky is totally a word! I think it’s just a hella west coast word.
• I’m with Spens and am already in my second week back so I’m writing this like totally last minute. This is what you call an excuse for lack of my usual hilarity. 
• Jacob’s earthquake story is way better than mine. Once I woke up to one and I barely remember it. CA earthquakes ain’t all their cracked up to be.
• Fun Fact! The world’s going to end on my 21st birthday.
• And don’t go smack talking my state! You guys are just jealous. 
• If this is Jacob’s last podcast do I replace him? I bet Harp-0s next in line actually, then I get bumped up to weird intros.
• Fuck I knew Harp-0 would replace Jacob.
• Spenser gets bonus points for name dropping the Amy Poehler speech, that’s my favorite. And I was totally going to pick Leslie Knope, my ultimate fictional role model. That’s not a weird thing to say right? Right.
• Three Lost references and counting. 
• Take away my TV fan card, I’ve only seen the first season of Louie.
