Mal Thoughts is a weekly column from our dearest friend Mal. She gives us notes, opinions, and quite often makes fun of us. This one is for episode 25: Greatest Hits/Season Finale.

• - This Harp-0 intro is better than almost any other tiny segment of the show.
• - I wish you guy’s would talk about fashion.
• - Spenser just compared BON to Facebook and that comparison really speaks for itself. 
• - Ha AbsolutePodcast.
• - Man you guys sure are making a lot of references that came after February hmm…
• - Spoiler Alert! I run the @BasedonNothing twitter account.
• - Drunk Jacob is classic.
• - I don’t know why anyone would listen to this. 
• - I can attest that drunk Jacob makes the podcast easier. 
• - Oh Spenser, just turn off your blackberry alarm! 
• - Some of these segments are more well written than others, this Wonderful Person of the   Week segment is not one of them. I mean. These naturally recorded time capsules.
• - I still hate Spenser’s brother. 
• - Did anyone actually go for the RPG idea besides me?
• - I’d believe that future. 
• - Spenser and Jacob are finally getting their cookies. 
• - TWIST.
• - I think we all learned something from this episode, Spenser’s kind of an awful actor.

• You guys shouldn’t prehash your special segment, it would’ve been better out of nowhere.
• Math indeed, 25+25 = 50! Congratulations Spenser.
• Running Community tally = 3
• There needs to be a better intro to Wonderful Person of the Week.
• I didn’t see a single hipster cop this Halloween, it was quite unsuccessful. 
• I’m with Jacob on the urinal business.
• I can’t help but notice that none of these have ghosts in them.
• Spenser has bathroom issues.
• Now Jacob’s child based fears are quite terrifying, mine is creepier because there’s such a real possibility of it happening, I’m scared of having an ugly baby. 
• If anyone cares about my fears: birds, rodents, babies, failure, you guys having another guest other than myself, serious relationships, and date rape. #downer
• Running Community tally = 4
• There needed to be an Adventure Time joke at the beginning of this segment.
• Excellent use of Harp-0, and what kind of continue is Spenser having to just say the truth about his podcast?
• This podcast just nuked the fridge. Literally. 
• Jacob’s favorite way to fall asleep is actually valerian root. 
• It took Spenser way too long to figure out how to break the pots. Shame.
• Who likes Applebees?
• I’ve never rooted for Spenser to die more. 
• Wait, if Spenser answers wrong I replace him on the podcast but I also die? Paradox.
• That segment actually was rather entertaining, Mal approves.

Mal Thoughts is the thoughts from a girl named Mal as she listens to our podcast. This time she’s listening to episode 21.

• You’ve been at this over half a year! It seems like so much longer than that. Not in a good way.
• That was some Lost number twisting right there Jacob. Surprisingly all of your math was right and I didn’t have to correct it.
• Alright? 6 our of 10?! I feel like Jacob’s said that about me before…
• This is the rare time where I need to correct myself, I really need to watch Jurassic Park.
• Why is Jacob not being Driver? No excuse. There is nothing more attractive than a guy in that scorpion jacket covered in blood.
• I approve of that couple costume. Jacob is wrong, they do have defining characteristics. Ben needs a plaid shirt, skinny tie, and a khaki Members Only jacket, Leslie needs the blonde and a lady blazer. 
• Harp-0 has the best costume of all of you. 
• There you guys go again, another theme idea. Glee.
• I’m sorry, do you guys like the show Community on NBC?
• Who’s Mary? 
• Mal-ware? I don’t get it.
• Spenser is the worst person to have this conversation with as he doesn’t drive, which he just pointed out so never mind. If anyone cares I love vanilla scented everything. 
• Waking up isn’t a smell. I looked it up.
• This might be the worst segment you’ve ever had. 
• Death is sad, but come on what’s funnier than death? It’s all the humor of someone getting hurt, but to the extreme! 
• “Bitch weak”? That just seems contradictory, trust me, I know some bitches and they are not weak.
• Spenser is wrong, “21 and Invincible” is a perfect episode title. 
• If I were to choose a drink to drown in, it would be raspberry lemonade. But that would probably sting.
• I still haven’t listened to the new Coldplay album. I should fix that.

Monday

• Like the concept, but if you do another “theme” episode next week you’ll be getting dangerously close to Glee level theme dependency. #rehashingjokesIusedamonthago 
• If you guys are only recording a few minutes every day, can I just only write out a section of my thoughts per day? Let’s say that’s why this is so late. 
• I love my Blackberry too Spenser, you’re not alone. In fact you’re the only other person I know who owns one. 

Tuesday

• I was really expecting a Lost style flashback “WOOOOOOSH” between days, COME ON! 
• This is a weird experience listening to this episode a few days after it was released and it was recorded like 2 weeks ago and I feel like by living life I’ve been spoiled by all the current events you will be discovering. 
• Things I don’t care about: iPhone 4s
• Harp-O’s feelings must have been crushed when Jacob wished for a robot best friend and didn’t even mention him!
• See! I already know The Simpsons have two more good years ahead of them! 
• And I think you say “Fuck you” to the woman Whitney Cummings is too harsh, she has a bad show and isn’t funny, but it’s more of the concept of Whitney that’s wrong. The person she portrays, not the show. If that makes sense.

Wednesday 

• Harrison Ford > Henry Ford in technological achievements. 
• You didn’t even have an mp3 player in 2005? Who are you, Britta?
• Spenser! We are like totally technology twins! I had a Zen for the longest time. I only finally got an iPod as a present to myself after a shitty couple weeks. Best use of retail therapy ever. 
• Confession: I haven’t listened to episode 19 yet. Sorry Layne! (Because I totally know him so that makes sense to say) 
• Confession Part Deux: I’ve never seen Jurassic Park.
• There’s no reason to feel old about Star Wars, that’s just ridiculous.
